Playing

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O

ٱلنَّاسُ mankind!

ٱتَّقُوا۟ Fear

رَبَّكُمُ your Lord

ٱلَّذِى the One Who

خَلَقَكُم created you

مِّن from

نَّفْسٍ a soul

وَٰحِدَةٍ single

وَخَلَقَ and created

مِنْهَا from it

زَوْجَهَا its mate

وَبَثَّ and dispersed

مِنْهُمَا from both of them

رِجَالًا men

كَثِيرًا many

وَنِسَآءً and women.

وَٱتَّقُوا۟ And fear

ٱللَّهَ Allah

ٱلَّذِى (through) Whom

تَسَآءَلُونَ you ask

بِهِۦ [with it]

وَٱلْأَرْحَامَ and the wombs.

إِنَّ Indeed,

ٱللَّهَ Allah

كَانَ is

عَلَيْكُمْ over you

رَقِيبًا Ever-Watchful.

Playing

وَءَاتُوا۟ And give

ٱلْيَتَٰمَىٰٓ (to) the orphans

أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ their wealth,

وَلَا and (do) not

تَتَبَدَّلُوا۟ exchange

ٱلْخَبِيثَ the bad

بِٱلطَّيِّبِ with the good,

وَلَا and (do) not

تَأْكُلُوٓا۟ consume

أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ their wealth

إِلَىٰٓ with

أَمْوَٰلِكُمْ your wealth.

إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, it

كَانَ is

حُوبًا a sin

كَبِيرًا great.

Playing

وَإِنْ And if

خِفْتُمْ you fear

أَلَّا that not

تُقْسِطُوا۟ you will be able to do justice

فِى with

ٱلْيَتَٰمَىٰ the orphans,

فَٱنكِحُوا۟ then marry

مَا what

طَابَ seems suitable

لَكُم to you

مِّنَ from

ٱلنِّسَآءِ the women

مَثْنَىٰ two,

وَثُلَٰثَ or three,

وَرُبَٰعَ or four.

فَإِنْ But if

خِفْتُمْ you fear

أَلَّا that not

تَعْدِلُوا۟ you can do justice

فَوَٰحِدَةً then (marry) one

أَوْ or

مَا what

مَلَكَتْ possesses

أَيْمَٰنُكُمْ your right hand.

ذَٰلِكَ That

أَدْنَىٰٓ (is) more appropriate

أَلَّا that (may) not

تَعُولُوا۟ you oppress.

Playing

وَءَاتُوا۟ And give

ٱلنِّسَآءَ the women

صَدُقَٰتِهِنَّ their dower

نِحْلَةً graciously.

فَإِن But if

طِبْنَ they remit

لَكُمْ to you

عَن of

شَىْءٍ anything

مِّنْهُ of it

نَفْسًا (on their) own,

فَكُلُوهُ then eat it

هَنِيٓـًٔا (in) satisfaction

مَّرِيٓـًٔا (and) ease.

Playing

وَلَا And (do) not

تُؤْتُوا۟ give

ٱلسُّفَهَآءَ the foolish

أَمْوَٰلَكُمُ your wealth

ٱلَّتِى which

جَعَلَ (was) made

ٱللَّهُ (by) Allah

لَكُمْ for you

قِيَٰمًا a means of support

وَٱرْزُقُوهُمْ (but) provide (for) them

فِيهَا with it

وَٱكْسُوهُمْ and clothe them

وَقُولُوا۟ and speak

لَهُمْ to them

قَوْلًا words

مَّعْرُوفًا (of) kindness.
